Left-back Kieran Tierney, the 26-year-old Scotland international, has been loaned out on a season-long loan by Real Sociedad from Arsenal, the two clubs have confirmed.
Kieran Tierney to Real Sociedad
Kieran Tierney joined Arsenal in 2019 from Celtic Glasgow, for whom he played in more than 120 games. He made 27 appearances, but only six starts, in last season’s league campaign, in which the Gunners finished second behind Manchester City.
Tierney played earlier this month as a substitute in the Community Shield, in which Arsenal beat City on penalties, but has been left out of the squad for the first three league games of the current season.
Real Sociedad have not started well in the new La Liga season, with three points after three games, and next meet Granada at home on Saturday.
