After a turbulent summer, Kylian Mbappe (24) continues to face an uncertain future and the French star’s destination in the summer of 2024 remains a mystery.
How PSG want to get Kylian Mbappe to sign a contract extension
PSG have been doing their best to get Mbappe to sign a contract extension just before the end of the mercato. That didn’t happen, but the bosses at the Parc des Princes can’t conceive the idea of losing one of the most valuable players on the planet for free.
So, according to L’Equipe, the sheiks’ new plan is simple. They want to change Kylian Mbappe’s mind via PSG’s run in the UEFA Champions League.
The French champions have been aiming for the most important inter-club trophy for years, but have so far failed to win it. Their best performance was the 2020 final, which they lost to Bayern 1-0.
PSG’s management believes Mbappe will definitely accept a contract extension if Luis Enrique’s team reaches the last round of the competition and triumphs.
- 180 million is Kylian Mbappe’s market value, according to Transfermarkt.
Real Madrid in battle with Liverpool for Kylian Mbappe transfer
Kylian Mbappe will become an out-of-contract player at the end of this season if he does not decide to sign an extension with PSG.
Real Madrid are keen to take advantage of the player’s situation and are preparing a tailor-made offer for the French star, as well as a special status at the club he has dreamed of playing for since he was a child.
As well as Madrid, Liverpool are considering a transfer for Mbappe, especially as Salah is on his way out of Anfield. According to L’Equipe, the Jurgen Klopp- led outfit are closely studying what is happening with the PSG player and expect the Premier League outfit to make a generous offer next summer as well.
